The weather station is operated by the Department of Digital Systems under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Onoufrios Haralampous. The “Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus” is located in campus Gaiopolis and it is measuring temperature, humidity, pressure, wind and solar irradiance. The real-time measurements are reported online and used by the students in the course “Meteorology and Digital Systems”, as well as by faculty members working on environmental applications of digital systems.
